Welcome to 2008 with Devastation; a landmark for Devastation and the eSports community. We are glad to welcome our Source team back to the name "Devastation" even though they never really left to begin with. We thought we would like to start off 2008 by giving a sum up of the year 2007 and what progress was made in the Devastation source team. The source team had a big year in 2007, finishing top 3 at several large lan tournaments as well as having the 8th highest winnings of a counter-strike organization for 2007. The only team to win more money in 2007 than devastation in counter-strike source that was a non cgs contracted payed team was Fnatic.

The Devastation Source team plans to attend all local NYC/Tristate lans this year, both summer and winter CPL's as well as digital life, newegg, and its first international event the Multiplay i33 tournament March 21st-24th near London.

Devastation is proud to announce their new Halo 3 Division. With the Halo Series being such a monumental success in popularity and competition, it seems only natural to include this game within the Devastation Franchise.
Devastation’s Halo 3 team consists of a local team from San Antonio, Texas. They devastated the local Halo scene while they played together for Halo and early Halo 2 before disbanding. Now, with the release of Halo 3 and the CPL’s announcement for a Halo 3 tournament, these players reunite under the Devastation name to bring a whole new kind of domination to the Halo scene.

Please give a warm welcome to the Dev.Halo3 team by stopping by the forums and getting to know them. They will be competing online in MLG’s GameBattles as well as Halo3League.com. Chuwero, Cujo, Swank, and McFly will be attending CPL Winter 2007 to compete in the $1,000,000 Halo 3 FFA Tournament. The team will also be attending future MLG events. Any teams interested in bootcamping should contact one of the Dev.Halo3 players on IRC or on the forums. We are still looking for one to two players to join Dev.Halo3 for online play.
